KINGSVILLE, Ont., Canada – Ayden Ingratta this weekend will visit Lexington, Ohio and the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for the next event in the USF Juniors Presented by Continental Tire program. Competing out of the Jay Howard Driver Development (JHDD) stable, the young Canadian will battle rounds nine and 10 at the 13-turn, 2.258-mile facility.
Entering the weekend with momentum from a positive fifth-place result in the third and final race at VIR a few weeks ago, Ingratta is looking to build on that result and fight for a podium at Mid-Ohio.
“Mid-Ohio is a great facility, and I look forward to competing there this weekend,” said Ingratta. “The JHDD program has had much success there in the past, and I look to add not only to their results resume but mine as well.”
Ingratta added, “The entire USF Pro Championships ladder program along with INDY NXT and INDYCAR are on track over the weekend, so it will be interesting to see how the track changes from session to session.”
Set to hit the track on Thursday for two test sessions, the official race weekend will kick off Friday with practice, qualifying, and the first wheel-to-wheel race. Race two will take place on Sunday.
