HUNTING VALLEY, Ohio – Maddie Colleran opened her 2026 season in USF Juniors Presented by Continental Tire with a determined and consistent performance at Homestead-Miami Speedway, competing with Zanella Racing over three competitive days. After a successful close to the YACademy Winter Series just two weeks ago, Colleran kicked off her summer season of competition in South Florida.

The event began with a full day of official testing on Monday, where Colleran focused on building confidence, refining setup and adapting to the demands of the high-speed circuit. In Race One on Tuesday, Colleran advanced five positions from her starting spot to finish 16th, improving racecraft and the ability to move forward through traffic. She improved again in Race Two, crossing the line in 15th and continuing to demonstrate steady pace and composure. In Race Three, Colleran secured another solid 16th-place result, capping off a weekend defined by consistency and measurable progress.

Across all three races, Colleran maintained clean, disciplined drives while continuing to narrow the gap to the midfield battle. Her ability to consistently bring the car home while gaining positions highlights her development and focus early in the season.

“I am really happy with the progress we made this week, but of course, I want to be further up on the results sheets,” said Colleran. “The test day helped us understand the car better, and each race we were able to improve and stay consistent There is still more speed to find, but we are moving in the right direction and building a strong foundation for the rest of the season.”

With valuable experience and confidence gained in the opening round, Colleran now looks ahead to the next stop on the calendar. The USF Juniors championship continues April 16-19 at Carolina Motorsports Park, where Colleran and Zanella Racing will aim to build on their steady start.
