ORLANDO, Fla. – Zanella Racing returns to USF Juniors Presented by Continental Tire competition this weekend at Carolina Motorsports Park, where the team will contest Rounds 4, 5 and 6 of the 2026 season following a strong opening event at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Zanella Racing opened the season in impressive fashion in Florida, highlighted by two victories from Max Mokarem and a podium finish from Olivier Mrak, while the team also recorded 10 top-10 finishes across the three-race weekend. Those results immediately established Zanella Racing as one of the early teams to watch in the 2026 championship fight.

At Homestead, Mokarem led the charge with wins in Race 1 and Race 3, while Mrak added strong results of fourth, ninth and third across the weekend. Leonardo Serravalle opened the year with finishes of eighth, eighth and 18th, while Victor Couto, Jared Oselka, Grant Mitchell and Maddie Colleran rounded out the team's results in South Florida.

With that opening weekend in the books, the focus shifts to Carolina Motorsports Park and another important early-season opportunity to score points and continue building momentum.

“We’re proud of how the entire team came together at the opening event, and now the focus is on carrying that same effort and energy into Carolina Motorsports Park,” said Jose Zanella, Owner of Zanella Racing. “Everyone has been working hard behind the scenes — drivers, engineers, mechanics, and crew — to keep building on what we started. CMP will be another strong test for us, but we believe in our group and we’re excited for the opportunity to continue that success this weekend.”

Carolina Motorsports Park presents a different challenge from Homestead, but Zanella Racing arrives with confidence after showing both speed and depth in the opening round. With multiple drivers already inside the top 10 and Mokarem leaving Homestead with two wins and leading the championship points table, the team will look to remain at the front of the field as the championship continues to take shape.

The weekend schedule at Carolina Motorsports Park begins on Thursday with two test sessions, followed by a third test session, practice and qualifying on Friday. The race action begins with Race 1 and Race 2 on Saturday, before the weekend concludes with Race 3 on Sunday.
